Audi S8

The Audi S8 Sepone for sale in Spain in May 2006 at a price of 107,900. Has a ten-cylinder engine with 5.2 liter V displacement and maximum power of 450 hp, the same power that the twelve-cylinder A8 6.0.

With this engine, the Audi S8 accelerates much. Are only 4.3 kg per horsepower, which speed up similar or superior to those of a good sport. The S8 has a performance similar to the A8 6.0, both have a maximum speed limited to 250 km / h and the S8 takes 5.1 s to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h (less than one tenth A8 6.0).

The main advantage dynamic with respect to the A8 6.0 is that the S8 has less weight ahead of the front axle because the S8's engine is smaller. Another difference that affects the dynamic qualities is that the S8 under normal conditions, it has more force in driving the rear wheels in the front.

The impression I have is that the S8 is a very agile car, which goes well conducted precisely on the curve and that just rocks. I do not think a car is recommended to be worn by a driver.

The S8 is distinguished externally because it is lower and has some functional and decorative elements, such as the grill (which emphasize the vertical plates on the horizontal), three lower cooling vents, a spoiler on the edge of the lid trunk, rims 20 ", several details of color aluminum (at wheel and mirrors) and four ellipsoidal exhaust. There is a color unique to this version (Daytona Gray pearl effect).

Inside there are also decorative and equipment but excluding emblems bearing, there are few elements that are specific to this release. Aluminum can have trim or carbon fiber (optional), two-color trim (with four possible combinations of color), and wheel pommel with elements of leather and aluminum, cam change with the appearance of an aluminum color and instrumentation specific font.
