The V12 Vantage reaches 305 km / h top speed and accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds, according to Aston Martin. Based on these data, not a particularly fast car for its power, as seen in this comparison table. Its engine is the DB9 and DBS, albeit with some changes to give more power.

According to Aston Martin, its engine is 100 kg heavier than the V8 engined Vantage; for final weight does not increase in this ratio, the V12 takes more lightweight materials: ceramic brakes, forged aluminum wheels and some panels are composite material. Its engine is placed, for the most part, behind the front axle and the change is ahead of the rear axle. The frame is aluminum and composite parts.

Aston Martin has made more or less important changes in the structure of matter at the V12 Vantage V8, to place a much larger engine (the engine of the image and the image of the V8 Vantage V12). Has changed the position of the turrets of the suspension, the air intakes and ducts that cool the brakes. Despite these changes, the length of the body unchanged.
