Fiat Panda Cross

The Cross is a version done on the Panda 4x4 ready to move further away from the road. Be available with 1.3 Diesel engine 'Multijet' 69 hp. Will be available during 2006.

The Panda Cross, with the 1.3 Multijet diesel engine (actually is 1.2 liters of displacement) of 69 hp, reaches 150 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 18 s.

Under normal conditions of adhesion, the Panda Cross is practically a front-wheel drive. Between the front and rear axles is a viscous differential which makes the two axis of solidarity over the larger the slip at the front wheels.

By activating the 'Differential Locking "through the switch is in the dashboard, the ABS can completely halt the wheel skid, which gives more power to pull the other wheel of the same axis. It is functionally similar to a locking differential and operates up to 30 km / h, from that speed off. Is not reductive.

Angles characteristic for driving on steep areas are good: attack and ventral 24 °, 42 ° exit. Headroom (which leads to protection engine) is 165 mm. Take a measuring 175/65 R15 wheels, which have a slightly larger diameter of the bearing the Panda 4x4.

To protect the body from rubbing or small strokes, Fiat has placed several pieces of plastic on the sides (covering the wheel arches and the bottom half of the doors) and a shield (which seem plastic painted silver) in the central part of the lower bumper.

Some auxiliary lights in front of long distance covered by a plastic frame of the same color as the sides. Behind them, the pilots are round and, like the amount, are protected by another plastic.
