Chrysler PT Cruiser

In November 2005 launch the new Chrysler PT Cruiser range. It has slight changes in appearance, petrol and diesel engines more powerful, and some changes that affect the sound. Chrysler will show the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 2.4-liter turbo engine displacement increased from 218 to 233 HP and 121 Diesel CRTD the current about 150 hp.

The changes mainly affect the aesthetic bumpers and headlamps. At the end of the roof can carry a small spoiler. The images displayed in this article are the model for the North American market, only available at the moment. It may happen to have some differences with respect to eventually be sold in Europe.

The dashboard and console controls are new and some are placed in a comparative picture of different position again with the previous model.

The new series may have readers MP3, trip computer (EVIC; Electronic Vehicle Information Center). It seems that this new version will not have stability control or choice.

Chrysler has tried to reduce the aerodynamic noise and tread. There are new glue insulation on doors and windows and more insulation in the panels, dashboard and the ventilation system.

The Chysler PT Cruiser is a minivan from 4288 mm in length, five seats and 538 liters of luggage volume (which is rather large). It indicated a minivan for four people in the rear seat is characterized by having a good longitudinal data space and height. As it is rather narrow, five occupants are more righteous than others. The rear seat is divided into two parts and can be folded or completely remove the interior.

Not the best for stability, something especially evident in the turbo version with 2.4 liter engine (at least in the earlier version of 218 hp).
