Fiat Grande Punto

The Fiat Grande Punto is available with a body of 3 and 5 door from € 8990 and € 10,095 respectively (all prices).

It is virtually the same car that Fiat presented in 2005 (more information on this model), but with small changes in the appearance of the body and equipment. In September 2009 submitted a new Fiat Grande Punto, with major changes to the vehicle shown in this article.

For now, the Fiat Grande Punto is available as engines, with four different levels of equipment: 'Active', 'Dynamic', 'Racing' and 'Sport'.

The range of engines consists of three diesel and four petrol. Some versions have an automatic gearshift (listed versions of the Grande Punto with automatic).

Fiat Grande Punto. 2008Exteriormente model, the Grande Punto range of 2009 differs from the Grande Punto 2005 by small details: it has new tires, new colors for the body and the lights of the versions "Sport" and "Racing" have a dark background image. For the interior, Fiat also offers the possibility of equipping the Grande Punto with new upholstery and the instrumentation is slightly different.

Can be customized similar to the Fiat 500. There are combinations of decorative elements for the interior to the exterior (eg vinyl to the body); sample images.

Except for the most basic versions available ( 'Active'), the Fiat Grande Punto device may have the 'Blue & Me "by Microsoft. It has a USB connection, a wireless connection to your phone (Bluetooth) and the possibility to control by voice features different elements. You can also have "Blue & Me NAV" which in addition to the above functions, including a browser on the small screen of the dashboard.

The Grande Punto is large in the rear seats rather than a Seat Ibiza and a Peugeot 207 and similar to a Volkswagen Polo. Its driving position is good, among other things, because even the basic versions have comfortable seats.

It has a boot capacity of 275 l in both versions 3 and 5 doors and does not include replacement wheel but a puncture repair kit. A Renault Clio and Seat Ibiza have more luggage (288 l and 293 respectively).

Motor 1.4 T-Jet 120 CV

The Fiat Grande Punto with the gasoline engine 1.4 T-Jet 120 hp is available with car doors 3 and 5, from € 14,565, in combination with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Fiat Grande Punto with this engine has a capacity of acceleration exceeding that of almost all such cars, and it's relatively inexpensive. Only costs less than 120 Ford Fiesta 1.60 hp, accelerating significantly less according to our measurements. Neither Peugeot 207 1.6 VTi 120 hp or 120 hp MINI Cooper are as swift as the Grande Punto (and both, especially the MINI, they are more expensive).

Fiat Grande Punto. 2008Según our data model version of the Grande Punto goes from 80 to 120 km / h, in the march for shorter maximum acceleration (3rd gear) in 6.3 seconds. Curiously, it was clearly faster than an Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4 Turbo 120 hp (7.0 s), which has the same engine and similar weight. MINI Cooper needs a Ford Fiesta 7.4 s and 8.0 s.

The Grande Punto has approved a high average consumption: 6.6 l/100 km. The festival spends 5.9 l and 6.1 l. Myth MINI needs only 5.4 l (comparative table of benefits and approved consumption).

The Grande Punto 1.4 T-Jet 120 hp is only sold with the Sport equipment level, which leads necessarily associated wheels 17 inches. There is no possibility of choosing the Grande Punto 1.4 T-Jet with smaller tires. The tires on our unit were about 9000 in Dunlop SP Sport 205/45 R17 measures 88
