The Fiat Linea is a three-volume saloon doors and four larger than the Fiat Bravo. Is for sale from 11,690 € (all prices).
The engine range comprises three variants: two petrol and one Diesel. There are two versions of petrol 1.4 l, with a 77 hp naturally aspirated and turbocharged 120-hp. The latter is new to the line, and so may have the Grande Punto and Bravo. With this engine, the line has a good relationship between performance and consumption.
The diesel engine is a 1.2 liter (1,248 cm ³) and 90 hp. Fiat commercially referred to this version as 1.3 Multijet. As we have seen, the line with this diesel engine has a nice operation, but may be a bit short for those who use the car with passengers and all baggage that could lead to much.
There are three levels of equipment possible, "Active", "Dynamic" and "Emotion." All versions have a trip computer, dual regulation of the steering wheel or a folding rear seat proportions 40/60.
Online versions of equipment with 'Active' (with only 77 hp gasoline engine or Diesel 90 hp) are distinguished because they have a lower price than any other saloon of its size. In part, the price is low because this version does not have some items of equipment that are generally available in cars of this size, such as side airbags or head, or the regulation height for the driver's seat.
More complete versions of equipment can have stability control, connection 'Bluetooth' to your phone, MP3 player, USB port for connecting the storage system of music, air conditioning, leather upholstery, automatic for the lights, rear parking sensor or curtains for the rear doors.
The interior of the line is long because it has a lot of space (for the legs in the rear seats) and rather small width.
The trunk volume is 500 l, slightly less than other cars of similar size four-door, like the Volkswagen Jetta (527 l), the Ford Focus Sedan (526 l) and the Renault Megane Sedan (520 l).
Has a length of 4560 mm, ie slightly larger than a Renault Megane sedan, a Ford Focus sedan and looks much like a Volkswagen Jetta. The line is narrower than any of them.
Has elements in common with the mechanical Grande Punto, in fact, the width of the body of both models is the same, the design of the dashboard very similar and, with few exceptions, they share elements of equipment.
The wheelbase is 2.60 m, the same as the Bravo and 9 cm higher than the Grande Punto.
The latest three-volume saloon car which Fiat has been in the Spanish market was the Tide. In other markets it has patterns of these features, such as Siena or Albe.
The line to some extent replaces the Tide, a four-door sedan derived from the Bravo / Brava. Line length is greater than that of the tide (4.34 m) and previous three-volume saloons Fiat Croma as the first (4.49 m).
The line is sold in countries of Africa, America, Asia and Europe, although its success is expected in markets where such body has more acceptance, as the Turkish.
