The Sirion is a utilitarian car with five doors, five seats from 3,600 mm in length. The most striking feature of size is its height. It measures 1550 mm in height, more than a Suzuki Swift (1500 mm) or a Nissan Micra (1540 mm).
The four side doors are great, with regular shapes and have a wide opening angle (80 degrees). Turning diameter between curbs is 9.4 meters which is fine for a car of its size.
Is for sale from € 12,300 with an engine of 1.0 liters and 70 hp and € 13,300 with a 1.3 liter engine and 87 hp. In either version is rather expensive compared to other cars of similar characteristics (similar models with the 1.3 liter size and power). We can not have stability control as an option.
Both engines and other components come from Toyota. The 1.0 liter engine has three cylinders and so has the Aygo, which gives a very good result. The Sirion 1.0 has a low fuel consumption for its size (5.0 l, average consumption figures approved). An Aygo with the same engine spends less (4.6 l/100 km), but is considerably smaller than the Sirion. The Sirion 1.3-l also has a power consumption for its content (5.8 l/100 km on average).
Both engines are sold with a manual gearbox five speeds. Optionally, the 1.3 liter is available four-speed automatic transmission that has developed a quarter longer than the fifth running of the manual box (38 km / h per 1,000 rpm 33.3 km / h 1,000 respectively).
All versions have standard air conditioning, ABS, CD, four electric windows and two Isofix anchorages for seats. The steering wheel is adjustable for height (to fit it also changes the position of the speedometer, it is attached to the steering column, the revolution has been installed separately on the dashboard), but not in depth. Version with 1.3 liter engine has electric mirrors and driver's seat with adjustable height.
The Sirion's front suspension is a McPherson carried forward. The rear axle is a transverse torque. The front wheel brakes are Disc and the rear drum. The tires are equal in the two versions, a 175/65 R14.
