Chevrolet Lacetti

The Chevrolet Lacetti is available with three petrol engines and one diesel (more details on this engine). Body has a five-door, front-wheel drive and offers the possibility of automatic switching to a gasoline engine or the Diesel.

In total, there are four versions depending on the engine that may have (gasoline 95, 109 or 122 hp and 121 hp diesel) and three levels of equipment (SE, SX, CDX). Besides having a low acquisition cost, the interesting thing about this car is that it can be satisfying for anyone who considers the relationship between price and equipment is important, but not the only valuable Lacetti. The appearance and setting of the material seem better than you would expect in a car of this price, not a car 'cheap' in the pejorative sense of the word but it falls short of new models of Korean origin as the Hyundai i30 or KIA cee'd.

The carrier has several holes where leaving and is more spacious than the average for the rear seats (measurements made by km77.com). The trunk is not large (275 l) given the size of the body but it is enough to comfortably carry the luggage of two people for a holiday.

Although the suspension allows large body movements, the Lacetti is a car in awkward twisty roads. Their reactions are not sharp and when you do lose the path to progressive, but it is not the most secure because it can not have stability control.

All engines are four cylinders and four valves per each. Lacetti with the gasoline engine with 109 hp has good throttle response, although its benefits are no better than usual in its power cars. This version is not very quiet and smooth, and its consumption is above average.
The Turbo 121 hp engine is very interesting because of the good response that is at all times, both to exit quickly from standing to gain speed in gear. It is not a particularly noisy engine, except when it is cold, nor vibrates excessively.

Series, all the engines are coupled to a gearbox having five speeds. Versions 1.8-liter diesel engine capacity and may have an automatic gearbox with four or five relationships, respectively.

The Lacetti measured 4295 mm long, is a car of similar length to that of an Opel Astra 5p or a Honda Civic. The width and height is the same as a Chevrolet Nubira (1725 mm and 1445 mm respectively) and the wheelbase (2,600 mm).

The Lacetti is available with three equipment levels: 'SE', 'SX' and 'CDX'.

All versions have serial four airbags (two front and two sides), ABS, central locking, four electric windows, electric mirror adjustment, steering wheel with height adjustment (versions' SX 'and' CDX 'is also in depth) and a guarantee of three years (with assistance) or 100,000 miles.
