The Chevrolet HHR is a five-seat minivan with a length similar to an Opel Zafira and Renault Grand Scenic, but somewhat lower. It measures 4475 mm long and 1603 mm high.
It is available only with a gasoline engine of 2.4 liters and 170 hp power, which can be attached to a box five speed manual or an automatic four.
The series is full of equipment. It has sunroof, leather upholstered seats with electrical adjustment and heated, stability control, sensor, tire pressure, trip computer, air conditioning and tires 17 ", among other things. The only option is to add metallic paint. However, it lacks certain elements such as xenon headlamps, and the browser.
Is for sale for € 28,100 with manual gearbox and € 29,400 with automatic. It's a high price even though the equipment as it is rich. Renault Grand Scénic 2.0 T 165 hp or a SEAT Altea XL 1.8 TSI 160 hp are cheaper for the same equipment.
The HHR stands out for its appearance (to some extent it occurs as the Chrysler PT Cruiser), and that does not mean I like the whole world. The HHR is a product originally designed for the American market (where it began selling in mid-2005), Chevrolet has decided to sell in Europe to attract potential customers to the brand.
The HHR is a minivan with a low quality in a broad sense. In some aspects, such as coating materials, the finish () or the response on the road, the HHR is far from the European carriers. Within Chevrolet, Captiva on one of its front-wheel drive variants, is the best product HHR.
What I did like their response is the dynamic qualities of the engine, which is able to move freely in almost any circumstance HHR. The stability is not at the level that is customary in most modern carriers, but there may be many drivers who do not need to miss a more precise answer, at least under normal traffic conditions.
An attribute that gives a body that is relatively high access to the interior is comfortable and not lacking in height for passengers in both rows. The width, however, is limited to three people can ride in the rear seats.
The trunk is large (430 l), but it has practical solutions, such as a separator that can be placed at various heights (and supports up to 45 kg load) in one of them form a flat cargo area with the rear seats when they are afflicted. You can also break the back of the passenger seat, which can carry objects up to 2.44 m long. The trunk also has hooks for hanging bags and boxes to store small objects.
The HHR comes in Ramos Arizpe (Mexico). As background of the stylish Chevrolet Suburban 1949 event, a model that was manufactured outside the U.S.
