Hyundai i10

The Hyundai i10 is a new model that replaces the Atos. It has 3,57 m in length and five-door body. Mechanically shares some elements with the Kia Picanto.

At the time of the launch is available with a gasoline engine of 1.1 liter 67 hp, with manual or automatic.

In June reach a version with 75 hp diesel engine and in October will have a new petrol engine with 1.2 liter engine capacity and 75 CV. Since late 2009 there will be versions' i10 iBlue "with certain steps to make their consumption more content.

The i10 is available with equipment for 8.700 € "Comfort" and 10.700 € with equipment "Style". The i10 with 1.1 l petrol engine has a low consumption (5.0 l/100 km) and is therefore exempt from registration tax. That a i10 cost almost the same as a Getz when you pay registration tax and the other not, it means at least in this case, that Hyundai has used this tax advantage to increase their profit margin, not to offer a price under the buyer.

The i10 is a car than Atos, model it replaces: it is better done, better road is wider and it has a much wider body. The i10 is approved for five people: KIA Picanto, Citroën C1, Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107, Renault Twingo and C2 are four-seater car. The Panda can have five seats as an option.

In the i10 city moves well through traffic because it needs little space to turn and the engine response is good. I have not driven by road there will probably throw it in greater strength and stability needed to have bigger cars.

The carrier has enough slots to place objects, visibility is good and the appearance of plastic is what you expect from a utility of this type. Everything is fine if the goal is to move around town. The seats are fine, but in general, a KIA Picanto I like more (and a Toyota Aygo or Peugeot 107 less).

Later there will be a version "iBlue" based on the i10 with diesel engine. The "iBlue" take certain steps to lower consumption of the 4.3 l/100 km which spends the normal version to about 3.7 l/100 km (or about 95 g / km of carbon dioxide).

I10 iBlue CNG will also be a 0.8-liter engine will be ready to consume natural gas. It will have a capacity of approximately 95 HP and Hyundai estimated emissions of 65 gr / km of CO2).

The Hyundai i10 measured 3565 mm long and 1595 mm wide, the wheelbase is 2.380 mm. With regard to Athos, it is as long and 70 mm wider. The Picanto is 70 mm shorter and has a wheelbase 10 mm lower.

The suspension of i10 is similar to the Picanto. Is independent front McPherson struts and an arm is pulled back with transverse torsion axle.
